At the School Level ●​ Identify trends in student performance across grade levels and content areas. ●​ Guide schoolwide interventions and supports (RTI/MTSS). ●​ Monitor growth over time to evaluate instructional effectiveness. ●​ Inform leadership decisions about professional development and resource allocation. At the PLC Level ●​ Analyze results collaboratively to determine strengths and needs by standard. ●​ Plan targeted reteaching, small groups, or enrichment. ●​ Share effective instructional strategies across classrooms. ●​ Set and monitor short-term learning goals for students. At the District Level ●​ Ensure equitable access to grade-level standards for all students. ●​ Evaluate effectiveness of curriculum and instructional resources. ●​ Identify district-wide professional learning needs. ●​ Direct funding, coaching, and interventions where they are most needed. ●​ Track progress toward district academic goals and accountability measures.​ District-wide standards-based assessments are not just about data collection—they are about informing decisions at every level to improve teaching, learning, and student success.
