At the School Level ●​ Identify trends in student performance across grade levels and content areas. ●​ Guide schoolwide interventions and supports (RTI/MTSS). ●​ Monitor growth over time to evaluate instructional effectiveness. ●​ Inform leadership decisions about professional development and resource allocation. At the PLC Level ●​ Analyze results collaboratively to determine strengths and needs by standard. ●​ Plan targeted reteaching, small groups, or enrichment. ●​ Share effective instructional strategies across classrooms. ●​ Set and monitor short-term learning goals for students. At the District Level ●​ Ensure equitable access to grade-level standards for all students. ●​ Evaluate effectiveness of curriculum and instructional resources. ●​ Identify district-wide professional learning needs. ●​ Direct funding, coaching, and interventions where they are most needed. ●​ Track progress toward district academic goals and accountability measures.​ District-wide standards-based assessments are not just about data collection—they are about informing decisions at every level to improve teaching, learning, and student success. After the Assessment Assessment is only valuable when paired with meaningful feedback and actionable next steps.
